You and Me

Introducing Mark.......I have been with Mark since January of this year.(2009) I must say he has been a blessing to my life and I am so thankful to have him.

Miss Meghan turns "15"

Well, it's that time of year again. My Miss Meghan turns 15. She is grown so much in the past year.

Back to this.......

It's been a really long time since I've blogged anything. Maybe a year or more at that! In this time I have been busy with Facebook and being in a 10mos relationship with someone very special. I will bring you up to speed with what has been going on. I think the last time I blogged was after we returned from visiting Utah, the Summer of July 2008. We had attended my step-fathers funeral. Although it was great to see my brother and my niece, the circumstances surrounding our visit was otherwise very sad.

Meghan is now 15yrs old and graduated from Middle School last June. She decided to transfer from Alma to St. Louis schools. Where she has made some better friends and now has a boyfriend. His name is Jake and he is a year older then her. He is a very nice boy and I work with his mother Amy Hale. We are good friends. Meghan is also good friends with Jake's younger sister Aubrey. She is also a very nice girl and we love having both of them over.
Mom works at St. Louis High School, and serves school lunch to the students. She also keeps a watchful eye on Miss Meghan....psssst....but you didn't hear it from me. You don't know anything about this....so pretend I never mentioned it. Anyone who knows me, knows I would be a fool to not have a spy with inside connections and a way to get information. She is me all over again, your damn right I'm gonna have spy's!!!! :-)

In January of 2009, I met Mark, who I have been seeing now for 10mos. He is very handsome, kind, thoughtful, considerate, honest, loving, caring and has so many other good qualities that it would take me all day to list them one by one. I have never in my life met anyone so understanding and accepting of other individuals and their situations. It seems he was meant to come into my life and be the one I grow old with. He is so good to myself and my daughter. He treats us like we are his family and when we are together the three of us are always very happy. I feel extremely blessed to have him in our life.

Then there is my little Nash Asher. My other kid, who is really a dog...but could pass for another child. Last year, he was sick suffering from a pancreatic condition in which he couldn't keep his food down. The vet ran a bunch of tests to determine the condition was caused by food allergies. We started him on a special food from the vet and he then little by little he made a complete recovery. Now he loves to eat and will run around with a fat belly.

Harlee

These pictures were taken July 2 2008, during our visit. She is so pretty. She looks a lot like my Meghan did at this age (4yrs).

Everyone says Harlee looks like me in this picture. Sure I would claim her and bring her back to Michigan to live with me. But I think my brother would have something to say about that!

Harlee is fascinated with the water. She loves to have her hands and feet in it all the time.

Me and my brother Andy

This is thee "only" recent picture I have of me and my brother Andy. He hates the camera, and I was lucky enough to get this picture. Andy still lives in Beaver, Utah. We miss him so much, and hope to eventually move back someday. Andy let me drive his big "off the ground" diesel truck...which I had to have a step stool to climb up into. No really, I was able to get in it without the stool....I was just messing with you. This is a nice picture of the three of us.

GRANDMA MARGIE'S DOG LUKE ALSO KNOWN AS LINUS!

This is Luke, Grandma Margie's dog. He is a full pitbull, but thee biggest baby you will ever meet in your life. We also call him Linus...from Snoopy because he carries his blankey around in his mouth. I'm the one who come up with calling him Linus. Mom actually prefers that to "LUKE, IT"S ME....I AM YOUR FATHER"!!! lol from you guessed it...STAR WARS. I wish I had a picture of the blankey in his mouth, I will be sure to get one. It's so funny!

Our "NASH" Asher

Here he is begging for some of Meghan's Doritos chips. We always share our treats.
Throw me a freakin bone people.....:) He likes to pose for the camera. He looks like his front legs are broke because he is double jointed. He's my baby boy!

My sleepy prince taking a nap on my bed. I was getting ready to clip his nails...I have to do it when he is sleeping otherwise he is difficult to handle.

Meghan and Nash in her bedroom posing for me. I think Meghan was whistling or something because of Nash's facial expression.

This is my other kid, his name is Nash, and was named after the show Nash Bridges. He is the sweetest dog I've ever owned, and SPOILED! He believes he is human, he eats with us, sleeps with us, rides in the car with us, be basically does everything we do. :) His front legs are exactly two inches long which makes it hard for him to jump up on the couch and bed, so I built him a little ramp to walk up on..."walks the plank"!!!
